Question about rear springs

I have a 2015 RGS, and is it normal for the right rear shock to have a smaller spring?

So I'm sure the Wizards will chime in here soon but I understand the two shocks to act as one device when they are bolted to the bike. That is why you only adjust one for dampening. So I've never noticed if they are different. Have heard a bunch of dudes say thy found one upside down

Yup and possibly mounted what would appear upside down.

I have those shocks on mine, never noticed that one shock is smaller. I'll check tomorrow.

I'm not sure how to define "normal", but my '15 Road Glide Special, and a friend's '14 Street Glide Special share the same design. I believe the larger (adjustable) shock is larger to accommodate the adjustment hardware for preload.

Just find it odd the spring on one side being so much smaller.
