Prior to purchasing the Harley Daymakers I used PIAA Powersports Xtreme White H4 Bulbs.
I believe any H4 Bulb will fit.
Hope this helps.

A HID requires a separate ballast to power it as well. You can use an HID.

Charlie, No, you cannot install an HID bulb in your housings without installing an HID system that does use a ballast to power the HID bulbs. Best bet without the cost of the Harley Daymakers is to upgrade your H4 bulbs to PIAA SUPER PLASMA GT-X bulbs. Retail at $49.95 each and I have a pair you can have for $35 each... If ya want 'em.

Just send me a PM...
