Another Rules Poll

Several have asked the question :

Why does the owner have to be the one to submit the entry , and honestly I have wondered this myself ..

Soo here is the thought

1) A member nominates another bike

2) the nomination is seconded by a different member than the nominator

3) The nominated member is contacted by the person in charge of the show , and if they accept the nomination , then they are in that voting cycle

4) You also can still enter your bike without someone nominating or seconding

So a yes is for the above idea and a no is to keep it as it is

Why not allow either? If that is what you are proposing I think it is a good idea. Clarification?

I would only suggest that the owner must grant approval somewhere in the process. There are folks on here who want nothing to do with this monthly 'contest' and it wouldn't be right if the owners didn't give their approval before accepting the nomination from a third party.

My 2 cents

“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming “Wow! What a Ride!” - HST

New to this. Voting cycle meaning the owner of said nominated has the ability to vote on his or her bike.
I don't know that votes are limited to one per person. If they are please forget I opened my mouth. I'm from Florida
And some of us can not count votes correctly anyway. Thanks. Vote is still yes on the subject.

sure we can keep the nominate your self in the mix

and yes RD-GLIDER you can vote for your own bike

and this isn't Chicago , the system recognizes you when you vote and you can only vote once

NWM it's in the original post that the nominated person has to agree
