Bike of the month winner for October - Straymutt

I didnt recieve a single submission for bike of the month, so this month I hand chose the winner myself. I chose Straymutt, because seeing the pics of this bike, then seeing it in person at Shark week was a real treat. This bike is even better in person, and pics do NOT do it justice!! Thanks for letting us check out your awesome bike Ron, and congradulations on winning bike of the month! Feel free to congradulate him here.

Here is a little info about the bike.
Quote:

The bike is a 2010 FLTRX that’s had a few basic mods to it. The wheels and rotors are Rampage Lucky Seven’s, 21 inch on the front, 18 on the back, Klockwerks Samole bars, C&C solo seat, chrome doodads here and there. The 2010 model came with a 2 into 1 exhaust that I converted back to a two-sided - just couldn’t see having a bagger with only one pipe. Then I decided I needed a little more power, so installed the S&S 510 cams, heavy breather and a Screamin’ Eagle Super Tuner. Now that it was running and sounding right I turned my attention to changing the color. I loved the scarlet red, but I always had a desire for a white bike, but had no real ideas regarding a design. I had always loved the pinstriping jobs that were popular on cars, trucks and bikes here in the Southern California area and was trying to come up with something for the Roadie. When one of the forum members found a pinstripe version of a shark, everything just kind of came together, and I had my solution – a white bike with pinstripe shark graphics! I took my ideas to Danny Martinez in Orange, CA, and he loved it and went to work with the basic concept. Over the course of several weeks various ideas of incorporating a shark theme overall began to take shape. Stretched bags with LED cutouts in the shape of a shark for rear lights and gills in the front fairing went from “I wonder if we could…..” to reality through some creative use of LEDs and epoxies. The biggest attention getter is definitely the gills that double as front turn signals. Danny did an amazing job of making them resemble real shark gills with the shading and texture. But the real fun is when people see the amber LEDs light the whole thing. Always plenty of “thumbs up” on that. It’s definitely a one-of-a-kind that’s not likely to be duplicated soon – at least not by Danny. It was quite a labor intensive task that he’s not eager to repeat. Many thanks to the members for selecting “Winnie” as Bike of the Month. It’s a real honor that makes the effort (and expense) worthwhile. I hope to reveal a few more mods once Shark Week III rolls around. Thanks, Roadglide.org!

Great choice, Chainsaw!

Seeing that bike in person was a real treat. Great look all around, and those taillights are fantastic.

Congrats, Mutt!

Maybe it should be called a "Great White". Nice touches all over, especially like the gills. I'll bet more than a few folks would snap up that shifter linkage too.

I think it was a good choice, when I saw the pics of the bike from SWII I was wondering why it was never entered, beautiful bike.
