First question that comes to my mind is what kind of glasses do you wear when driving a car? Second is how long have you been riding a motorcycle without proper riding glasses? Not trying to criticize just curious. What has worked for you in the past and what has changed recently to justify the question? Perhaps a trip to the ophthalmologist is the best route to take. "Halos" at night can be a sign of vision issues such as astigmatism that are best left up to the professionals to manage. That said, I have a 19" OEM windshield so I usually just wear my everyday glasses. I did buy a pair of Wiley X "bricks" in my prescription and transition lenses when I had my original windshield, prior to swapping for the 19" and still have them. They have the "comfort seal" so I can use them with or without a fairing if necessary. However, my everyday transition lenses are sufficient for both day and night riding with the taller shield. That said, I believe with the proper wind management you can wear just about anything you like as long as you can see safely!
