Going to try on some jackets this thurs or friday at the dealer. I am short and wide, 5'7" and about 235. Any suggestions on a jacket for fall/winter.

Going to look at the Harley Endrino and maybe a 3-in-1 That shows up on their website and looks to be available at one of the local dealers.

Don't know how warm it will be, wanting to keep riding on sunny days maybe down into the low-mid 40s. Just wear a thermal, tshirt, hoodie, vest and my work jacket now.

Would like to be able to just wear a thermal, tshirt and a jacket if i could.

Sleeve is about a 33/34 from middle of back, but my gut is a xl/2xl depending on shirt/jacket.

Anyone my stumpy size find a jacket that fits well, may end up getting one and have sleeves tailored for me.

I would suggest you go to any of the million sites out there that sell a classic motorcycle jacket for about $130. Most come with a Thinsilate liner and are sturdy and warm. If you buy a Harley jacket, it will be high quality but around $500 or more. As far as size, I wear an XL in classic jacket, I'm about 200, 5'8' 30 inch arms. A 2x would probably work for you.

Stopped by the dealer today and tried some on, going to compare sizing through leather u, cycle gear, revzilla and such and try and find a match for the Harley pile driver 2xl measurements. It fit very well but is not as warm as I am looking for, the Killian was but am not looking to spend $340 on a jacket just yet. Maybe $200 on a similar non Harley branded jacket with the warm and waterproof liners.

hd has some very warm textile jackets. price is right too. i haven't worn a leather jacket in years. textile is warm, not as heavy, and if it 'shrinks', not as much of a loss.

cycle gear as stated-my heated jacket is about 10 yrs old-they come with controller-a denim jacket called Street & Steel-heavy duty, looks a lot better after a slide than leather, comes with a heavy hoody-get on sale for 160.00 or so-heated jacket around 175.00--good luck

After trying on several at different dealers, I bought the Harley piledriver with liner today. Road about 50 miles today with it and while it isnt quite winter temps outside. It did very well at 55 degrees for me today. Blocked all the wind and kept me warm in just a t shirt. Can see it easily good down in the mid 40s like I was wanting with a thermal and my vest on. Now need to find some better fitting thermal underwear.

12/19/18 update - took a 45 mins ride today. Just cruising at around 50-55, was 47° out and the jacket was great with just a long sleeve t-shirt underneath. Will be trying to find some better insulated/lined gloves like my biltwell moto gloves which I LOVE and some better thermal underwear or thicker riding jeans.

Have an Olympia bishop leather jacket, on sale $315.00, without thinsulate liner and long sleeve”moisture wicking fishing shirt”good to 35°

With Thinsulate Liner comfortably sub zero; started sweating at 35°, long sleeve shirt, vents closed up!

Man Ive got a $700 FXRG jacket with the liner and all the bull shit. Jacket weighs 50 freaking pounds. My pawn shop Fonzie weighs 1/3 of that and keeps me just as warm. Ive had the Fonzie for 25 years. I dont care how freaking amazing the front zipper is and how cool it looks. Its gonna still let air in if you dont have the liner. My tried and true Fonzie lets 0 air in and doesn't feel like I have a sand bag on my shoulders. Just remember this: No matter what the price tag says. Its probably made in Pakistan. If Im going to pay Harley prices for a jacket. ITS GONNA BE MADE IN AMERICA!!!

IF your dead set on a Harley jacket then go to EBay. Tons of guys buying new bikes and jackets then selling everything 2 years later. Bought my son n law an FXRG for $220 shipped last year.
