My 2018 F250 up against my brothers 2018 GMC Denali 2500 with same load the GM smokes it in MPG, power and stability..i was inpressed

both are Diesel
Yeah , friend has a 15 2500 Denali , he had surgery a year ago and couldn't drive , had me pull his 8x32 enclosed trailer fully loaded on a couple different occasions , total of about three hundred miles , the DuraMax is a hoss , truck is really nice too . He has around 150 on it now , no issues .. Can't figure why the chose to put the DEF tank under the hood tho'

They are all great now indeed , each has their quirks and areas where they could improve , and there will always be the brand loyalty by some .. As I said I have owned all three and been very happy with each one .. I will get what I feel works best for me , odds are that it will be gas , and it will be a 3/4 or 1 ton or more .. This truck is the only half ton I have ever owned and it is great , but there have been a few times where I could have used a bit more .. And I will keep it ...

As I said if I can find a decent used diesel for the money , I will get it , but at my age , as bad as I want one , I cant justify a 65k plus pick up ..

Let's keep this going , not about me and what I want , show us what you got and want ... If it's trucks , Harleys or firearms and reloading , I'm ready to talk ..

DEF tank location is a head scratcher, but it's a damn nice truck, and I will say a lot more quiet and comfy inside with the leather dash stitching ect..I look at my Ford now it feels "cheap" compared to the GM interior

I should add my brother traded a 14 f250 for the GM after running fords for 15 years

Was a big leap for him to say the least

Duramax guy here.. No I don't need it but want it!! First Gen only would not buy a Diesel with all the Emissions shit and this fucked up state has yearly inspections so can't mess with it.. The only issue in the North East is the drive train long out lasts the body's.. I will run this one into the ground 03 GMC only 180k on the clock so lots left in her..

I went with the crew cab and slightly shorter bed in the new one.

The new Ram rides like a luxury car, some of the accessories that came with this sport is something I wouldn’t have thought I’d use but once you get used to the heated steering wheel, heated/cooled seats you appreciate them. It even has power adjustable foot controls for the little guys and gals. The 9 speaker system with the built in woofer under rear seat sounds great, first truck I haven’t upgraded the system in. I have no need or desire for any other truck
