Cleaning your bike.

So many products out there and I am not sure what is safe or not for the bike, or which product is best. All suggestions are welcomed. Just want to keep my ride shiny and new looking. Thanks in advance.

I am damn happy with the Ultima stuff

paint guard Wash
Paint Prep Plus
Paint Guard Plus

Its really held up nice for a Wash and sealer system, bugs, dirt ect wipe right off, only had to do a couple actual deep cleans last year.

I've tried a lot of things. I just use the Harley quick detail. Just about the same as everything else out ther as far as quick details go.

If you are concerned with safety, probably anything you can purchase in a legitimate store is safe. The only way to know what you prefer is by trying them out. I like easy-on, easy-off and a nice shine. Wolfgang's and Liquid Glass meet those requirements for me.

A clean microfiber cloth and no grit on the bike are the two most important factors.

I used to watch people wax their vehicles on Daytona Beach and they were just grinding those fine salt and quartz crystals that blow around with the wind into their finish.

If you have ever ridden down A1A without a windshield or faceshield you know what I am talking about.

I put a few hundred miles on my new RGS yesterday, I had also put a new windshield on it. I have been using this stuff since last summer. The bike was treated a few times with the spray wax. I my windshield had it's fair share of bugs splatter on it..
I really find it hard to believe but the bike had no bugs on it remarkably!
For the price, shine, ease of use & protection...there's no reason for me to try anything else & yes I used dam near everything. I really never was a fan of turtle Wax! The stuff works well for me & it's cheap!
