Howdy, My first Road Glide

Good morning from East Texas. Picked up my first Road Glide yesterday, a 2019 Ultra. Don't have enough miles on it yet to offer an opinion, but the 114 is a beast! One question about head lights. Riding to work in the dark this morning, the lights did a really poor job of showing what was ahead. If there had been something dark in the road (like a big truck tread), I don't know if I'd have seen it in time to avoid it. Is this normal?

Welcome from Minnesota. I have a 15 RGS and the headlights are great. I'd say there is a problem unless the ultra has different lights. I'm sure others will say that know better than I.

Congrats on a great bike. The lights are pretty great. Likely you just need to adjust them higher - assuming you don’t just have a warranty issue with a burned it bulb.

Ride safe & enjoy!!

Hello and congrats on the new scoot! Welcome to the tank! I’m sure some of the Ultra guys will answer your headlight question. Good luck and be safe.

Welcome, from New York, to The Greatest Forum on The Internet!
Congrats on The New Ultra.
As RonC stated the headlights may just need to be readjusted.
Since it's still under warranty have Your Dealer take a look at it.

Beautiful scoot!

sounds like it needs adjustment; if anything you should be impressed with how well they light up the road ahead of you.

hello and welcome.

There is an allen head under the lights under the fairing. you'll see it up there. that's all it is to adjust them up. They seem to be set low from the factory.

Sounds like the responses above have helped you with your issue, so I'll just say "Welcome" from SW Florida.
