Hello forum, I‘ve owned many bikes in my life and finally bought my first Harley back in January (2019 FLHCS Heritage Special 114). After about 9 months and almost 15k miles, I decided I needed a bigger bike. So, I bought the 2020 Road Glide Standard 107. Wanted the Special, but just too pricey for me at this point. I do have a few key points within the differences of the Heritage and the RG. Looking forward to some great conversations here on the forum. I tell you, I’m not noticing much of a power loss from the 114 to the 107.

Definitely interested in what people have done to theirs. I’ll do a Stage 1 soon, but not sure if I want to go with the Screamin’ Eagle intake and pipes. I’m in CA, so it’s a bit more difficult to get ‘other’ pipes - but not impossible. ?

I had V&H Eliminator 300’s on my ‘19 Heritage, and loved the sound. Throaty and not too loud, but a good sound increase when you hop on it.

Welcome from Georgia.
What else are you missing from the upgrade ? Someone :) on this sight would have you believe that the new Heritage is the best thing since sliced bread.

Ya. But we all know how unstable he is. And at a moment's notice he will be on a new bike. Hes like a girl I knew. We called her anydicklldo. Lol. Changed guys like Eddy changes bikes.

Anyhow.

Welcome to the forum from NE Ohio. Congrats on the new bike.

Dont tell the guys with 114s that the 107 isn't far off. They have size issues. They're compensating.

Welcome from NJ. Also opted for a Standard RG over the Special because of price and color. Put a SE Stage 1 on and am quite content. Yes a 114, gloss black inner fairing and Boom 1 would have been nice but happy with my purchase. Enjoy!
