Thanks for all the compliments. it's getting there. The seat made a huge difference in looks and feel. It's not supposed to fit. But where the bikes have the 2 studs. This has 2 nuts welded to the frame. It lined up so I ran bolts up from the bottom and there was the studs I needed. Had to modify the ppad tab to shorten it and it all lined up. The bars stock bars are 12" baby apes. That's why I went 14" on the Factory 47s. I can't wait for them to come in. Gonna hit the dealership this week and go up into the storage space where all the insurance and upgrade take offs that the owners dont take home. Look for Rushmore RG parts. Pretty sure they'll give them to me cheap or free.

Haha. Ciro. This mount is awesome. And if y'all are wondering why the tank is off the bike. I'm running wires.

lookin great, John! You sure like to get things done quickly.
Prolly would've taken me 6 months to do all that.

I see a stabilizer on the front fork. How stiff does that make the steering?

How are you likin' the ride so far?
Like others, I'm not looking forward to the time when I can't ride on 2 wheels, but keeping my knees in the breeze is on my mind, too.

I almost had to do a lot of that right away. My first ride home was pure hate. I was cramped and uncomfortable and if I parked near another one they were exact. With all the time money and effort I had into my Roadglide. I was depressed about losing it. I dropped 15 pounds in a week. So part of getting all that done was to keep my sanity. I told my wife today. Sometimes I'm still a bit embarrassed to be on it. But I'm getting over it. Seen a guy on his freewheeler today and he yelled over to us to say hi as he drove by. He couldn't have been more proud of his trike and he was riding. And that put things in perspective for me.

That dampener is a non issue. You dont feel it. You have to push/pull when you steer so it's already a little bit more work than a bike. But I'm not even noticing any resistance whatsoever when I steer now. It's just a part of how it rides.
