I have one on my '10. cant tell how much a difference it makes. A little bit though for sure. All i know is my bike is much more stable then my '06. i just put in monotubes in the front. Now i need rear shocks as my CVO have me bucking all over the place.(im too lightweight for them).
If you havent upgraded your suspension yet, i would do that first.

Thats weird you get the dancing. sounds like the fallaway adjustment. Even before the stabilizer and suspension upgrades, mines never danced... even holding speeds at 90-100 it has been very stable.
Perhaps the alignment is off a little?

just did the fallaway adjustment , was a little loose. front end still acts weird at high speeds. in the process of putting on new rubber ( commander 2) hopefully this helps. Thinking about pulling trigger on stabilizer link also
