RG fork sliders fit?

was wondering what years fit what,from what i see they stayed the same,is that correct.i have a 2000 roadglide and just purched some off a 2010 so i could get em powder coated.any help would be great

If you are talking about the lower fork sliders they are the same from 2000 to 2012 HD part # 46472-00B. From 1984 to 1999 HD part # 45315-98. If you are talking about the upper fork slider covers then all year models from 1949 to present will work.

I know the part numbers are different but not sure what they changed....maybe axle sizes???

also im going to be doing this myself in a week or so and i have a few ??.my 2000 rg has air assist front and rear forks and shocks.how is this any diffrent than regular and how much oil goes in.i have seen a few vids and read several diffrent ways of doing this.
i would love to leave the forks in the triple clamps and do the replacement if thats possible,i have read a few that say you can do it this way.but how do you refill forks after.or is it better to just remove them completely?
