What length 6mm allen driver

I've looke at a dozen threads on Fork removal, couldn't find one that has the lenth of the 6mm Allen wrench used to remove the slider bolts from the bottom of the forks.

How long does it have to be, thanks.

What i used was about 6 inches long. Don't use a ball end allen, it will strip out the bolt head. If you have a harbor freight you can pick up a cheap set of metric allens for a ratchet.

Change out the bolts when you get the rest of the o-rings, etc.

The Allen wrench is about this long...

I picked up a long metric set on ebay w/ the ball end. Used with an impact gun and had no troubles.

I cut one 2 " long years ago, inserted into a socket, use with a ratchet or impact wrench and it's worked ever since.
