Oil in air lines

I just replaced my stock air shocks on my 2009 with the harley adjustable shocks I bought from a member (thanks HD2012CVO). When I removed my stock air lines to the shocks they had a lot of oil in them is this normal ? I searched and couldn't find where anyone else had mentioned it.

I haven't experienced it myself, but I have been told if lowering the pressure in my shocks I need to add air first to keep from letting the oil out of the shocks. Doesn't completely make sense, but it's what "they" say

I just changed mine out last night and set them under the bike. When i picked them back up there was an oil puddle. Worried me at first as I thought the bike was leaking. But to answer your question, yes it seems this is normal.

Thanks guys. I did let all the air out before I removed them. I thought the air and the oil were seperated internally and thought maybe a internal seal had broken or something.
