Bitchin Baggers Drop Shocks

I just installed my Bitchin Baggers Drop Shocks and thought I would share a review. First, I would like to say how impressed I was with Ron at Phoenix Customs. I Live in Texas, but had a business trip to Phoenix planned. In order to save a little on shipping, I timed it to where I could pick these up when I was there. I went by Ron' s shop and he spent about an hour showing me things that they had done and they were working on in the shop. You can tell that he loves what he does and cares about providing high quality. The shop was immaculate with some high-end equipment.

As for the shocks, I had my stock shocks lowered 1.75 inches, taking out 1 inch of travel. Obviously, the ride quality is not as smooth as the stock shocks, but it is still a good ride. I rented a street glide in Hawaii last year. I am not sure how much PSI were in the shocks, but that thing rode like a hardtail compared to these. The small difference sacrificed in ride quality was more than made up for in the better handling of the bike. I have a softail and after I bought this bike, i was second guessing my decision to buy it because I just found it difficult to get used to the high center of gravity of the touring frames. Even considered getting a drop seat kit, to get more of a softail feel. That has now all been resolved. This bike handles great. I live off of a curvy highway. The other day, I was in a curve leaning and applying throttle and found myself at 80 coming out of the curve. I now have to set the cruise to avoid getting a ticket. There may be smoother riding options out there, but for 175$, and lowering it 1.75 in, the drop shocks can't be beat.

I spoke to Ron about rebuilding my high mile shocks and found out his company will do it quite reasonably. He was very professional and knowledgeable as a small company owner should be.

My experience with Bitchin Baggers and/or Phoenix Customs is the worst experience with a company providing a service. Bitchen Baggers
took possession of my 12.75 HD Air shocks by UPS receipt 12/29/15. They also billed me the same day by PayPal. I have contacted Ron
numerous times about when I would receive the 11 inch shocks back that I had paid for $190.00. Bitchin Baggers states in their ad 3 to 5 days turn around.
Ron at first stated they had equipment issues. Then the next few times I called Ron stated that they are in front of me and I am shipping out
USPS 2 day. On Friday 1/16/16 I tried to call Ron. No answer. I left a voicemail stating I no longer wanted the shocks. Keep my shocks. Please credit my Pay Pal
the $190.00. Ron called me back later stated he understood and would credit my PayPal the $190.00. As of this writing 1/18/16 no credit.
I would question do do business with Bitchin Baggers.
