shocks junked?

Are OEM air shocks junk after they leak out the oil, or can they be refilled? If they can be refilled what kind of oil is used?

Did the oil leak out the seals, or was it spilled out the top??
If it leaked out the bottom seals they're pretty much done, they could be refilled but the oil will just leak out again.
They can be refilled if the oil is dumped out, I don't recall how much oil they hold though.

Not sure where, not mine. They were taken off and laid down, so I would guess out of the top. Thanks for the information!

Slip the big end of the rubber boots off the shock body, have a look inside and you'll find your answer. If there's anymore than a light film of oil in there the shock is likely leaking.
The '09- later shocks are different than the earlier ones.
