Black Denim owners

when you got your lowers powder coated did you do flat or gloss? if you have some pics of either i would appreciate it . thanks.

Painted mine gloss the first go round,.. powdered them denim next. See my profile for pics.

i haven't done mine yet, but have seen a few done. i personally like the gloss better, gives the bike some contrast. all denim looks cool, but being so monochromatic, just doesn't 'pop' like the gloss does.

this is all just my opinion of course. both look good.

I understand the concept of reality, but find it too confining for a way of life.

mine are gloss, as well as my engine guard. I plan on doing the foot control stuff, the tank console, the turn signals, and fairing supports all in gloss as well.

I'm going gloss on mine too, seen it both ways but prefer gloss. That's my winter project.

Flat black, and painted while on the bike for me. Cost 8$ and took me 1 hour. Has held up very nice, did this on my fatboy as well. It looks gloss in the pic because paint is wet.
