front end chatter under braking?

I have an 07 Roadglide and I have noticed a slight chatter in the front end while braking (front brake only). It only happens at lower speeds just before coming to a stop. I can feel it in the bars and in the highway pegs. I have found that if I apply the front brake and cycle the front suspension rapidly I feel a clunk and the bottom of the stroke. I am thinking this is a neck bearing issue but I don't have any of the other tell tale signs of a neck bearing issue.

Anyone else experienced this sort of thing?

I had thought of that but that would not explain the clunk when cycling the forks.

Check the fall-away of the neck bearings, the nut could be loose as there is a history of this. Adjust as necessary. I experienced this on my 2011 RG.

I would check both the bearing to make sure it is correct, and move on to the rotors. It sounds like you have at least one warped one. I have had that issue on both my SG, and on my RG.
