Thoughts on progressive 944 LOW?

I'm wanting to change my current rear lowering shocks (burly slammers) to a better riding/ more travel shock. Looking for anyone running the 944-4001ul Shock low version to give me their opinion of how they ride. I understand the sacrifice of ride quality due to less travel but are they worth the extra $$$ over the burlys I'm currently using? I've searched but can't seem to find info on the 944 low

Ride solo 80% of the time
Need low shocks because I'm short
Like to spend less than $550
Thanks!

I'd give FASTHARLEY (Howard) from Motorcycle Metal a shout . He's a suspension expert ,who can custom build you a set of Ohlins. He's a sponsor on this forum also.

I bet if he called them, they could work something out - I am not familiar with Howard's stuff

I didn't know they were doing custom jobs. Phone calls are free.
Last yr, the only sold one set for our bikes . They are 13 " shocks that sit 12" laden with 3" travel.

Never know until you ask - They seem like the kind of company that would do it.

I was hoping for news on their fronts too but nada......
