Ohlins cartridge and oil lock

Howard, or anyone else that has installed the Ohlins cartridges in their 2015 RGS, or similar year, . Do you reinstall the oil lock (think that is what it is called, see pic) when reassembling the forks with the new cartridges.

Man, thanks! I completely missed this I hope it didnít hurt anything. My instructions did not have the detail yours do much appreciated.

YES!

The oil cup is actually the bumpstop. If you look in the bottom of the inner fork sleeve there is a tapered receiver with seals that the oil cup fits in. This slows down the suspension and prevents bottoming out. You can run the suspension without the oil cups, however you will bottom out the the ride will be terrible.
