Bagger wobble - Now a handful
My 08 Roadglide has it but nothing like it is currently. Ive put 35K on the bike and added a swingarm stabilizer just after purchase. So its always been there, but lately its amplified. My thinking is that since I pull a BT trailer behind the bike (started last year) that the added weight and flex placed on the swingarm bushings has accelerated the wear of them, which is giving more play in the swingarm. My 01 Roadking had an instance where it too was amplified and it turned out to be a bad front engine mount. Ive checked the front engine mount on the roadie, but it looks okay. I know there is a replacement swingarm bushing that is suppose to correct the problem, but for sometime everyone seemed to have a 'fix' for the wobble. Anyone have any suggestions or experience?
Three items come to mind:
Steering head bearings
Front engine mount
