Noise in forks

I have a noise when you push the forks up and down, sounds like a spring squeaking. Seems like they compress more then they used to. Any ideas?

My 99 RK did the same thing until I put in the heavier oil in the forks. Not the HEAVY STUFF, just a little heavier than stock.
I plan to replace the oil in my FLTRUSE with heavier oil this winter to help with nose dive also. MUCH cheaper than all the upgrades. If it works, great, If not, it's a relatively cheap effort (no parts involved)

Well the problem got fixed, just not the best way. I got rear ended at a light, the whole front end got replaced; and what do ya know no noise.
