Speaker Question

I was diggin around in my basement and found some speakers and cross overs that I had in a truck of mine. Curious if they are worth installing with the stock HK for a mild improvment. What kinda of amp would I want to run with them, if I were to add an amp i the future? Im a dummy when it comes to audio stuff.

Memphis car audio 5-1/4" MClass Coaxial Speakers
Max power 80w
Coninous Power handling 40w
Frequency response 70-21khz
Sensitivity 93dB
Magnet size 10 oz

I'm not sure that spec wasn't on the box. Googled it and couldn't find it either.

Anything will be better than the stock speakers but personally i think if youre gonna pull the fairing off the change speakers id recommend upgrading to 6.5. I went with a mildly priced set of polk 6.5 with stock radio and no amp and its better than stock. Its nothing like what some of these guys have but its fine for me

Theyre 4 ohns. Memphis never produced a set of speakers that were 2 ohms other than subs.

They will be better that stock but your going to lose on the power out of the deck since it will be cut due to the impedance.
