Talking New lids!

The big brown truck just dropped my new lids off. Gotta say very nice quality. I've been a body tech for 20+ years always a little sceptical about aftermarket stuff. But hogtunes lids are a+ scuff n shoot out of the box! Now just get my speaks and amp figured out.

So far I have
Sony dsxm660 HU
Focal 6.5s
Arc ks125.2
HT 6x9 lids

Those look really sweet. So how do they sound when you're running at cruising speed?

I have Hertz 6x9s getting about 100w RMS per side in the same lids and you can't hear it above about 45mph. If a song is really full of bass you can feel it more than hear it.

Get yourself a set of Kicker KSC693 6 X 9's and run em with the Sound Stream Tarantula Nano TN2.600D and you'll hear em at speed!! But that's just me. The key to 6 X 9's at speed is power!!! Whatever you choose just make sure you put at least 150 watts of power to em! Anything less and they will fade at about 50 mph due to wind noise. Just my .02
