Ohms and wiring (series v parallel)

Well in the search for knowledge on all this audio stuff with everything from watts and ohms to types of wiring and component v coaxial and RCA input v high level from speaker wires my head has been hurting. So I've been doing a little research here and there prior to my audio install. After looking at wiring diagrams I finally figured some things out but then found this site and for some reason after reading this it kinda clicked for me. Just figured I would pass this on.
https://www.termpro.com/asp/pubs.asp?ID=124

So I figured if any one else has any good reference links to post them here.

This site helped me allot... figuring out stuff... nice because you can plug in your speaker / amp ratings and you can see how things change.

Here is my contribution to this thread called "How loud will it go"

This is for the guys who are having trouble hearing their 6 x 9's at speed.

This calculator shows:

Sensitivity
Amp Power
No. of speakers

If you plug your specs in the calculator will show you how loud your speakers are at a specific distance.

To hear your lids at speed I've found your specs need to be around 105 DB or higher.

Check it out and enjoy!
