Anybody ever run these speakers?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/130933222774...ht_2501wt_1200

If you can't (or don't want to) open the linke, they're RF PPS 4-6 6.5" speakers. Seems like a good buy, but I know the ol' saying. You get what you pay for. Just wondering if anybody has had any experience with these? Also, if they aren't worth it, what would be a better option without breaking the bank? Thanks!!

2005 Shark. Madstad shield, Progressive Mono tubes, Kenwood KMR-M315 deck, Alpine SPR-60C speakers, Trask V-line bars, V&H Pro Pipe, S&S cams, 21" Fat Spoke, extended bags, SE air cleaner.

I don't know if you read the details, but that's just a midrange speaker, you would at least need a tweeter and crossovers to go with it, and a woofer if you want good bass, so you're going to end up spending more anyway.

I was actually just checking that out. I see some folks put tweeters in place of their gauges. I had thought about that or the Hogtunes tweeter pod. I may go back to the drawing board. I want some 6.5's. Any suggestions on that? Thanks for any help!

I read up on them, but my stereo is 4ohms and those are 2. Looking at the Polk DXI 651's.

Mines get pretty wet when it rains. .... they still work. Quite honestly 90% of the speakers made now are water resistant, unless you just continually pour water on them or try to go swimming with them, they'll be ok.

I tried that once, but they sank

Overtime pays more because of what you're missing, money isn't everything.
