Which 5x7's for lids?

I hace been reading on here and it appears that most are going with HAT 5x7's or Focal 5x7's in CVO lids. Can anyone tell me which one is better? Are they both a drop in replacement for the factory Boom speakers? Thank you.

In my personal opinion I would fund adapters for the 5x7's to 6x9's. I think you would be better off in the long run. What's the budget for speakers?

The HAT speakers are direct drop ins but the hertz are not. Biketronics makes a kit to make the 6x9s that is a direct replacement also.
