No way I'm Doing It.

Just finished my spring project.
16" Buky Bars
New clutch cable
And tranny fluid
New brake lines
Bleed brakes
Run internal bar wires, 3X's don't ask.
Then put in new SS pn4.520 amp in fairing.
Wrapped speakers in baffle,
Then finally buttoned up fairing.
All is good.
Then I noticed my Fuel gauge light is burnt out...WTF...
It's staying burnt out for this Summer.
Done for now..

2009 FLTR, in the works, FM 107, 777cams, Jackpot Header, Power Vision,K&N high flow, 1" drop back, 12" windvest, K&N slip ons, 14" black apes, tri light , vented lowers ,misc..

Go with LEDs, I bet they'll last longer than you. Also it is possible you knocked the bulb out of the socket. Good rainy day project, don't let it bug you the whole summer.

The good thing is you only notice it at night. I did the same thing after I changed my amp out.

I replaced my gauge bulbs last winter. One pulled out during re-assembly and it stayed that way. This winter I zip tied them in.

If you pull out your headlights you can reach in there and change the bulb out or pop the soket back in. Pain in the butt but it can be done. Just my .02
