Alpine 149bt and biketronics handlebar controls

Just got my new radio and controls hooked up and I'm wondering what all the biketronics deal will do. It is on a 2013 RGC.

If I have my iPod hooked up to the radio (which it always will be) and I'm curious if it will scroll through my playlists or by song or artist, etc? If it will, how do I do it? Just briefly playing with it yesterday, I couldn't make it happen.

I could make it skip songs and switch the source, but that's it. I will be real disappointed if it won't skip through playlists and then through songs within via the hand controls.

Am I missing something here?

The BT module allows you to use your handlebar controls as if you had a factory radio still installed. It is not a replacement for the functions on your radio & does not act like a remote would.

On my Alpine (ida-x100), it lists the songs in alphabetic order when I start the bike so I hit shuffle on the radio and Im good to go unless I unplug my ipod. I don't have different playlists set up.

You're gonna be disappointed... I changed mine to a Kenwood deck with the same adapter. It will change songs, but that's it.
