Right side 7.25 left side 5.25...

Bought a set of J&M 7.25's off a forum member to replace a blown 5.25 boom speaker and wouldn't you know it the left side speaker won't fit due to the boom amp placement inside the fairing. Exactly what I was afraid of. So for anyone with a boom setup that wants to change speakers to a 7.25, be prepared to change the entire setup... At least the new grills look better!

Why not just move the amp ?

2010 FLTRX , Stage 1, 13" Madstad, Mono tubes, SuperShox, Heritage style bars. Alpine CDE-HD149BT,Soundstream Picasso Nano Series PN4.520 , 5X7 and 6.5 Infinity Kappa speakers
If I have to explain ,you wouldn't under stand anyway.

That's my plan. The current bracket is made for that specific location. I just need to find the time to relocate it and find the proper bracket is all.
