tourpak speaker replacements

So I bought a set of Polks 5.25 and they wont fit they are too deep. So what speakers would be a good upgrade for my tourpak?

I am running PBR300x4 amps

I've been kicking around that also. Dragonfly makes 6.5" TP speaker pods. Direct replacement.
I'm thinking about going this route. I believe they are $200.

Too bad, I just up graded my truck speakers to Polk. They sound really nice.

2010 FLTRX , Stage 1, 13" Madstad, Mono tubes, SuperShox, Heritage style bars. Alpine CDE-HD149BT,Soundstream Picasso Nano Series PN4.520 , 5X7 and 6.5 Infinity Kappa speakers
If I have to explain ,you wouldn't under stand anyway.

Somebody did a write up about replacing their's with 6x5's. Said they fit real nice. Had pics also.

V-Twin Audio makes a set of 6.5 adapters for the tourpak. I am very pleased with mine I am running a set of Infinity Kappa's

I have the same adapters but running the HW Z654's with a HW CS300 pushing them....

I got 5.25 from hawgwired for the tourpack. You can take the material off the speaker cover & then use it as a spacer to move the speaker out further. I did this when I had polks, otherwise magnet bottomed out. Then use the covers that come with speakers.
