I have an 05 Glide that I am equipping with a Sirius Onyx XM reciver. Would like to hard wire the power. Do not want to use the cigarette plug adaptor. The aux power adaptor under the seat appears to be my best choice. Does anyone know if the adaptor is constantly hot or runs through the switch? Also any suggestions for a better hookup. Want it switched not constantly powered.

You can tap into keyed power under the fairing if your mounting there.

Tap into the wiring for the cigarette lighter it is switched with your ignition.

The ACC connector under the seat is switched via the ACC switch on the bike.
