PANDORA / Auxilirary

Since I don't have Bluetooth on my stock head unit, i was running PANDORA thru the auxiliary . When I do this I have to turn the the head unit full throttle to be able to hear, This is not the case when playing the tuner , CD, or my Sirius . I have a Samsung Galaxy 4 phone, and I have all the volumes turned wide open on the phone, what have I over looked. I would like to get rid of the Sirius payment, but I don't think running PANDORA as it is sounding now ain't going to cut it. I have a PBR amp and J&M Rokkers for speakers and sound is really good at half wide open normally

I can't speak for the galaxy as I have an iPhone and don't experience this issue when using pandora. Is it possible to try a friends phone (different brand) and see if you have the same issue? A friend of mine has a galaxy and she's always complaining about in general volume problems.

This may sound strange but try a better quality auxiliary cable. I had a similar issue when I used to use my Ipod through the aux port. I bought a better cable and issue was gone. Everytime I needed something like that I try to buy the Monster car audio brand. Its pricey but seemed to work the best for me

I have a Motorola Razor phone, and when the volume is all the way up, it will automatically turn itself down after a period of time. A warning will display on the screen saying something about " hearing protection with the use of the headphones played at high volume." Only saw this message once when changing stations at a stop sign. I keep my phone in the right glove box and usually don't mess with it during my ride other than volume control on the thumb switch.
I play my phone volume down a little to keep it from bumping the volume down even lower when this feature activates. Works for me.
When using the aux. jack, I will say that the I pod has a much fuller sound and volume than the Pandora through the phone.
Maybe your phone has this auto. volume control as well. Hope this helps.

I think I may need to try a better cable for my Ipod.

I have an iphone, I never had that problem, but mostly I am using a bluetooth adapter into the radio aux, they can be had for 20 bucks on amazon, well worth it in my opinion
