What size power and ground for amp

Hello all. Just picked up a arc audio mpak6 (moto 602 6.5 speakers and an amp) from the classifieds and it came with everything but the power and ground cables for the amp. I don't know much about hooking up a set of speakers and amp but it has pretty good directions so I figure I'll do it myself. With out having to order a specific set of wires, is there something off the shelf (and Guage size) that you guys know of that I could use locally. Should I put a fuse inline on the power wire? Thanks in advance.

I used 10 Guage wire from battery to amp. I also installed a inline fuse about 6" off the battery.

If I have to explain ,you wouldn't under stand anyway.

The power kit that arc audio sells I believe comes with 10 gauge power and ground. 30 amp fuse should be no more than 6" from the battery.
