??? on installing xm radio on 2013 ultra with tour pak

I need some info from some of you that been there already.. the bike I have is ultra ( speakers, controls, intercom)
Just bought
xm radio kit 76404-06
wiring harness 70169-06A
bracket 76316-06A

one dealer ( just got prices from) said the wiring harness is 70172-06 and the other dealer (one I bought the parts from) told me I need wiring harness 70169-06A

to install the xm radio kit and antenna bracket was no big deal. As far as the harness was able to switch the plugs from the new harness from the old harness for the following plugs: radio, cb, xm radio kit, intercom . But starting looking for the following plugs: left rear speaker control, right rear speaker control, front intercom, passenger headset plug. I cannot find them in the fairing. They sure know how to hide them. I am wondering if I got the wrong harness or the plugs are hiden under the gas tank. When I spoke to the parts guy they all said it was just unplug and plug the new harness in and I might need them to flash the radio.. Just wondering if how much of a pia is getting to the other connections. Want to have this for SW.....

I will do what I want, when I want and if I don't want to do it, I am not going to do it.

That sucks if they sold you the wrong wiring harness! I hope you get it straightened out and get it working before your scheduled departure date.

The dealer you purchased the parts from needs to read his own books.
The 70169-06 is a Non-Ultra harness. It is to install all accessories on a Non-Ultra model.
The 70172-06 is for installing the XM Satellite on Ultra Models.
Looks like he is just trying to get more money from you.

Went to Stealer today and talked to a tech, parts and service guy and they all tell me yup that's the right parts. Told them to make sure you have the right parts because if they have to order parts and its not ready for SW I don't want it. So lets see what they come up with.. And no cutting and splicing wire together to make it work....

I will do what I want, when I want and if I don't want to do it, I am not going to do it.

Hey RoadGlide rider You were right I talked to another parts guy tonight and he did come up with the number you said... I also told them I had some one tell me they gave me the wrong part.... Well they are going to order the part and have it shipped next day air to my door...Best part is its cheaper.... I guess its because they screwed up........

I will do what I want, when I want and if I don't want to do it, I am not going to do it.

When my local dealer says they need to order parts, I usually pass and order them myself from Surdyke or another source that discounts the parts 20% and gets them to me faster. I've learned to find out exactly what I need before going to the dealer because some of the dealer people really don't know the difference between ultra models and custom models - they just barely know what a Road Glide is.

That said, the local H-D dealer is quite a bit more competent than the local Kawasaki or Suzuki dealers ever were.
