So I just put the six pack on from USA made Hawg Wired. Sounds great in garage, will know after ride tonight how it sounds at 80 MPH ;>
More to follow...........
Well I can say I am very happy with this setup for only two speakers. 50% volume at freeway speeds of 75-80 and so clear and loud. At lights my buddies tell me to turn it down, and I say huh, i can't hear you........
Agreed and is great to deal with on any items needed as well. Always THERE for you. Returns calls to you soon as he can. These business types are few and far between.
Did the six pack come with a mounting bracket for the amp? Does anyone have any pics of it installed? Just ordered this system from Frank and was wanting to see where and how you placed the amp and crossovers.
So, looking at the Hawg wired webpage, it shows that the six pack comes with two 6.5 ROUND speakers instead of the 5x7's that other manufacturers have. Do they mount up in the stock locations with the components in the kit or would 5x7's fit better? I have the Ultra and wonder if the rear speakers would hook up as a plug n play as well. Any ideas?
Hawg Wired doesn't make speakers for the tour pack. It takes a shallow speaker. I'm taking out my H/W 5.25 system this week. Replacing with 4 hertz 6.5 and new 5.25 hertz in the rear.
