Boom Audio/Bazooka Amp Lesson Learned

So I had Boom Audio speakers installed in the saddlebags by the dealer prior to delivery and was running a setup of stock fairing speakers, the saddlebag speakers and no amp. It sounded great while parked but was barely okay at 70 mph. So I bought a Bazooka 200 watt plug and play amp and some J & M Rokkers to replace the fairing speakers to upgrade. I took it back to the dealer for installation, only to learn that the Boom speakers in the saddlebag have a wiring harness that is compatible only with a Harley Boom amp. Not wanting to spend the $400 for the Boom amp right now, I'm still rolling with sound quality less than what I want. The Rokkers are a definite improvement over the stock speakers but with the money I have invested so far I want kick ass sound and I ain't there yet.

So the Bazooka is for sale. I paid $265. I'll let it go for $225 plus shipping. But I post mainly so that no one else makes the same mistake I did.

I went with Boom right out of the dealership. Put the boom upgrades in the fairing and boom speakers in mylowers, with the boom amp. Sounds great at 75 miles an hour. My rGC is a rolling juke box.

I have not looked at the wiring on the Saddlebag speakers yet, but I have the Bazooka amp, and the harness is an in-line type deal, so I would think that the lid speakers should be able to work with it. I could be wrong, but just what I'm thinking.
