BT 4180 amp mounting

Getting ready to do my install on 13 RGC, for anyone using the BT 4180 did you just mount it to the inner fairing wall using tape/Velcro or has anyone used a mounting plate? With an aftermarket HU it almost looks like it might fit on top of radio. Will try a dry run tomorrow and let you know how it goes on top of the radio.

Freedom isn't free, remember to thank a vet.
2018 CVO RG lava orange, 117 Stage 3, 14" F47 and a few chrome extras. Boom crap gone.
2016 RG Special Cosmic Blue, 120ST with Dragos 2:1 and TTS tuner, FBI drop seat kit and JNR air ride. Stock audio long gone.

I used the tape that Biketronics supplied. I am using the V Twin Audio instal kit and wasn't able to put it on top, had to put it between the glove box and inner. That 4180 and their HAT speakers are awesome, wish I knew about these guys a couple of installs ago could of saved a lot of money.

Amp mounting

I mounted mine on top of the kenwood head unit I installed in place of the factory HK. Just make sure to mount as far toward rider as possible to allow for room needed around rear for RCA cables and also to give windshield mount screws enough room.
