If you are just adding an amp. And new front speakers do you need to flash the infotainment system? And if so why?

I am not positive on this but I think you do when you add an amp etc. I had dealership do mine. I think they also have to change some settings in the head unit. I would give you dealership a call, they should be able to tell you. FYI I had BOOM Audio Stage II speakers and Stage II amp installed. I must say it sounds pretty bad ass!

ACES & Eights ,,,,,

if you want THE BEST sound available from the Harley Infotainment system then you need to have it flashed exactly like this http://www.jmcorp.com/PDF/HarleyRadi...04-02-2015.pdf ,,,,,,,, regardless of the brand of aftermarket amp you will be installing ,,,,

full details and comparisons on this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8a0p6IF2hS8 ,,,,,,,

The dealer I used charged me $20 and thirty minutes later they were done, which I felt was fair as that is not the dealer I bought the bike from. The dealer I got the bike from wanted to charge me $40 and stated I would have to leave the bike for 1/2 day to get it done.
