J&M Amp - 2015 Road Glide. Flash needed?

Just installed the J&M 1800HR15 180 Watt Amp in my Road Glide. Have worked with John in the past and he's done me right when I had some issues with previous product. Love what they have to offer these days.

So installed the amp. But uncertain if I need to have Harley "flash" my radio? Is that needed no matter the amp installed? Or is it only based on the power? # channels?

The amp sounds great! In this fairing, I think it sounds better than the 300W fosgate I had on my 2012 RGU.

Thanks.

Thanks John! It sounds great! Waiting on my Rokker speakers. Afraid I'm going to blow out these stockers with the new amp. It installed easily. Packs some great power.
