AUX plug

It appears the aux plug in the HK Radio has broken. I use it to hear my GPS and XM Radio on the factory stereo. Is this repairable, or do I need to just start using my Walkman earbuds? I'm good with a soldering iron, so if I can get inside the radio, I can fix it. I use the CB and the Intercom, so going to a different radio won't work. 2011 RGU. Thanks.

If there's no ice on the roads, it's not too cold to ride.

You can use that as a guide.

Yes it is repairable. Pull the radio and then you can pull the face plate of the radio off then you can see the AUX plug and it's solder connections.
It isn't uncommon for one of the AUX plug pins that is soldered to the board to break off the board, and re-soldering the pin to the board is easy repair. If for some reason the AUX plug is broken in some other fashion the plug can be replaced.

Thanks, Ironmark. I'm guessing that I have to pull the front fairing to get the radio out, so I guess I have a winter project....or at least a "couple of rainy weekends project".
