cvo speaker bag wiring?

Hey guys I got a 13 cvo road glide, just sent away the HK for some pre outs to add the 4ch jl audio amp I have from the SG. I have lowers on the bike so I'm adding the 6.5" lower faring speakers, also going to change the faring ones to 6.5". Now in the bags as I've read I have to keep same size 5x7? I believe.

My question is without running new wires for the saddle bag speakers do you know which ones come to the HU so I can cut and splice them to go into the amp. With it being a 4ch amp I'm going to have to bridge the speakers would it be best to bridge the four 6.5" in the faring? I'm not sure on what speakers I'm putting in yet gotta go see my audio guy to see what deals I can get.

It's probably pretty easy to see the wires once you get the outer fairing off. Just match up the colors coming from the speaker. It's all aftermarket, so it should stand out from the oem stuff.
Are you talking about running speakers in series or parallel? If running in series or parallel, you must be ohm conscience . Bridging is running two of the amps channels into 1 speaker. Your always better off adding an extra amp rather than running in series or parallel .IMO

I'm sure the wires will be the same color in the fairing as they are in the saddlebags. I would however get yourself a service manual as they have wiring diagrams that will tell you for sure

Is the CVO goodies added in the service manuals ? That I'm not sure.

Yes running them in parallel is what I want to do. Don't really want to get another amp and have two. Just hoping to put the one I have in faring and be good to go.

Make sure you get the right ohm speakers for application . Do the math. They can't wind up lower than the amps ohms.

Yeah I think you're right. The cvo's have their own manual I believe. Either way the manual is a very important tool when you're working on the bike
