Just installed Sony DSX-M50BT head unit, JBL GTO628 speakers, Soundstream PN4.320D amp along with Scosche HDSWC1 interface. Turn the ignition and no power at all on amp and head unit. I figured at the very least, the amp should turn on when I turn the ignition. But I got nothing!

So you only have one power input to the amp, where are you getting your power from?

Also, how is it grounded? I haven't seen an amp in years without remote for the power, how are you shutting it off?

He means remote wire, not a physical remote - if that was the confusion.

Straight 10ga power wire from amp to battery. Straight 10ga ground wire from amp to battery. Straight blue/white wire from the back of the head unit to "rem" in the back of the amp. All connections are good (I double checked. Nothing loose). I check fuse and they all look good but then again how do I know if it's broken?

What head unit do you have? Also you say the head unit isn't on either?
