I went with a pioneer hu, vtwin audio install kit and the pac controller with scosche harness. All very easy to install. I have polk audio db series 6.5 in the fairing and 6x9 for the bag lids along with a 1200 watt power acoustik 4ch amp in the fairing. I went this route to keep everything simple. It may not be "the best" but it sounds great to my ears. On the highway the bag lids aren't really noticeable to the driver but definitely noticeable to your passenger. I can hear the the fronts very well at 90mph. Around town it will drown out the police behind you with their sirens on. Again may not be the best but it is simple and cost efficient
