Mix or same brand speakers

Current system: waiting on install

Alpine 149bt head unit
Biketronics 4180 amp
Biketronics install kit
Biketronics 7.1 for the fairing
Looking at picking up some ebay lowers to install 6.5 in speaker pods.

My question is should I stay biketronics speakers or another manufacturer. Looking at moto602, dd v0 6.5, hertz?, focal? I have a pair of infinity kappas available.

Suggestions

The DD VO-Ms are a fantastic mid range speaker. That being said, they don't play the "highs" in your tunes that well. If your current speaker set up plays the "highs" in your music well (tweeters), the VO-Ms will add a great deal of volume and will plays the mids extremely well!

I don't think it matters if you got a 4 channel amp. You can adjust for the difference in speaker sets. If you only run a 2 channel amp , different story.

2010 FLTRX , Stage 1, 13" Madstad, Mono tubes, SuperShox, Heritage style bars. Alpine CDE-HD149BT,Soundstream Picasso Nano Series PN4.520 , 5X7 and 6.5 Infinity Kappa speakers
If I have to explain ,you wouldn't under stand anyway.

Mix brands, but be aware of specifications.

Sorry for the confusion. The kappas are available for this set-up. Not for sale. I didn't care for how bright they sounded. Looking for a fuller deeper sound. Plan on using them in my pickup.
