Radio Reception Question 15 RGS

Hey guys, I recently installed a Cerwin Vega B4 amp and it killed my reception. I enjoy listing to the radio on my 15 RGS. So I pulled it. Looking at going with the PBR300 , can anyone that has this chime in on your radio reception using it?

Thanks

RF pbr 300x 2 = no radio reception problems. Its a class AB amp. Only the class D amps cause radio reception problems. The RF runs very hot though. I started having mine actually start going into protection mode in the 100 degree temp. down here in the summer. Some have no problems though. They also sound outstanding when it worked.

If I have to explain ,you wouldn't under stand anyway.

Do you still use it or did you replace it with something else? I'm in GA myself so heat is an issue for sure. I have a small fan I can install with the amp but prefer not to.

No, once the problem started, everytime I turned up the volume the pbr 300x 2 would go into protection mode. I'm now using the Sound Stream Nano 520.4 . Yes it's a class D amp. Yes it weakened my radio reception but didn't kill it.
