HELP! remove seal pin from P&A connector

Anyone know how to Remove seal pin from cavity 12 of P&A connector, as required to add the rider headset harness?

It's step 2 of these instructions.
http://www.harley-davidson.com/app-c...ts/-J05870.PDF

My seal pin is recessed to far into the back of the connector and can barely grab it. It won't pull out from the back.
So I removed the rubber strain relief from the back just enough to grab the seal plug.
It won't pull out. It does seem to move forward some but not enough to think that's the correct way to push.
It appears I have to disassemble the entire connector just to remove this dang seal pin.

Or I need an extraction tool like the ones used on military type circular connectors.

Edit: evidently some claim I just need a paperclip or maybe a small drill bit to unlock the pin from front of connector.
Well I tried a #60 drill bit which fit what may be an pin unlock hole, but it didn't unlock the seal pin.
So I'm still needing help I guess.

Any help would be appreciated.

As I originally expected, I had to completely disassemble the rear of the connector to unlock the seal pin which didn't need to be there in the first place. In fact it wouldn't have been any more trouble to just install a short black wire in that position instead of the seal pin. Anyway I'm back on the road now.
