PBR 300 x2 install in 4.3 radio

I recently traded in my 2012 RG on a 2016 RG with the 4.3 radio., I have already Installed the HERTZ speakers I Had in the 12 and now want to put the Rockford PBR in the bike. Do I need to do a flash on this like the 6.5 radio needs or can everything go in without any problems. Thank you for the help. Chris

You don't need a flash for it to work but you might want to think about a Bike Tronic's Line Leveler or some sort of Line Out Converter to fix the output issues that our Rushmore Head Units have.

BT line levelers are the talk right now... If I didn't already have a flash, I would run with them. Flashes can be tricky if you don't know EXACTLY what to ask for in regards to option within Digital Tech at HD. One missed or added check in the box can get you a totally different result in performance and sound quality.

I'm running a Soundstream with no flash or line leveler. Sounds good to me. Doesn't cost anything to try it.
