Rockford amp and Focal speakers

I will Temporarily be running a set of used Focal speakers and was wondering if I can hook it up to a two channel amplifier on one channel only? They are rated at 60 watts rms a piece. I don't have enough cash for the Polk mm651 and a pbr300x2 that I would like to run and was hoping this would get me by for a few Months.

PBR300x2 does mono bridged

but stereo operation at 4ohm with focals should sound good

not sure if that helps

1 channel used for for both speakers and 1 channel not used at all works? I will hopefully get Polk MM651 in the next few mounts.

it's bridged at 4ohms, so just hook it up normally in stereo

when you swap out the speakers later the amp will sense the change and run at the slightly higher power output, 2ohm automatically

bridging doesn't seem necessary
